ADDING VALUE, DELIVERING IMPACT

In 2018, we saw 562 research articles featured in the media based on our press releases, with a reach of 67 million readers worldwide.

Top-cited author awards

We launched a new award in 2018 to recognise top-cited authors from China and India for work published across the entire IOP Publishing journal portfolio from 2015 to 2017. The winners were authors of the top 1% of the most-cited research papers within six subject categories. Winning review authors were those whose work was in the top 10 most-cited reviews published in the last three years.

Chinese researchers are at the forefront of significant scientific breakthroughs, and India’s influence and status in the fields of international research continues to grow. It’s important for us to recognise the contribution of outstanding scientists from these two countries.
