Top cited authors from China are being recognised by a new IOP Publishing award.
The award is for corresponding authors from China, for work published across the whole IOP Publishing journal portfolio in the past three years (2015-2017).
The winners are authors of the top one per cent of the most-cited papers in each subject category. Winning review authors are those whose work is in the top 10 most cited reviews published in the last three years.
Antonia Seymour, IOP Publishing’s Publishing Director, said: “Chinese researchers are at the forefront of significant scientific breakthroughs. It’s important for us to highlight the impact their work has across the global scientific community.”
The 151 winning authors’ work covers Physics; Materials, Biosciences, Astronomy and Astrophysics, Environmental Sciences, and Mathematical Sciences. Between them, they received 4,672 citations from 2015 to 2017.
The top 10 review authors, meanwhile, received a total of 792 citations for their review papers.
Winning authors attending the Chinese Physical Society’s Fall Meeting, in Dalian in September, will be able to receive their certificates from Antonia Seymour at the meeting.
