IOP Publishing is pleased to announce that OPscience express received an “honorable mention” in the eProduct/Best in Physical Sciences and Mathematics category at the 2010 PSP PROSE Awards, announced yesterday in Washington, DC.
The awards are presented by the Association of American Publishers and the winners are decided by a panel of publishing professionals, librarians, and academics to annually recognize the very best in professional and scholarly publishing.
IOPscience express is a free iPhone application that has been designed to keep our readers up-to-date with the latest articles to appear in IOP-hosted journals. The app allows you to view and download articles that have been published in over 40 IOP-hosted journals over the last two years.
You can also search for relevant articles, and email information about selected articles to yourself or a colleague to enable access at a later date. IOPscience express can be downloaded free of charge via iTunes or the App Store.
This is the second time IOPscience has received recognition from the PROSE committee. The IOPscience platform was given an honorable mention in the 2008 awards in Best Website or Platform category.
