IOP introduces Print on Demand for journals

05 Jun 2018 by Simon Davies

Readers, researchers and authors can now order print versions of IOP Publishing journals whenever they require them.

IOP Publishing’s journal titles will be available as Print on Demand (POD) copies, delivered through printing partner Hobbs.

Starting on 5 June 2018,  37 titles will be available in print via this system, covering issues from 2008 onwards.

Chris Ingle from IOP Publishing said: “Even in today’s online world, there are times when printed copies of particular journal issues are preferable. We are pleased to give all our readers a straightforward way to purchase individual print issues as and when they want.”

Print on demand is available through IOP Publishing’s journals platform, IOPscience, and is open to all users regardless of subscription status. Cost will vary depending on the size of the issue, number of copies ordered, and the delivery location.
