Local hubs, global impact: Purpose-Led Publishing sponsors satellite sites for upcoming Global Physics Summit

The expanded program will feature presentations and workshops on the essentials of successful publishing.
Sixteen international locations have been selected as satellite sites for an expanded program of inclusive events held in conjunction with the American Physical Society’s Global Physics Summit, which will take place in Anaheim, California, March 16-21.
Sponsored by Purpose-Led Publishing, a coalition of AIP Publishing, the American Physical Society, and IOP Publishing, these satellite sites will provide scientists from around the world the opportunity to engage with the live meeting in Anaheim and participate in specialized presentations and workshops from coalition members on the essentials of successful publishing.
The selected sites include:
- The Synchrotron-light for Experimental Science and Applications in the Middle East (SESAME) in Al Balqa, Jordan
- The National Centre for Physics in Islamabad, Pakistan
- The International Centre for Theoretical Physics-South American Institute for Fundamental Research (ICTR-SAIFR) in São Paulo, Brazil
- The Physical Society of Hong Kong in Hong Kong
- The Nepal Physical Society in Kathmandu, Nepal
- The Cameroon Physical Society in Yaoundé, Cameroon
- Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, Senegal
- The Almapark School System in Pakistan
- The Institute of Physics Belgrade, the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Novi Sad, and the Faculty of Physics at the University of Belgrade in Serbia
- The University of Ghana in Accra, Ghana
- The Bogolyubov Institute for Theoretical Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in Kyiv, Ukraine
- The Physical-Technical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan in Tashkent, Uzbekistan
- Centre National de Recherche pour le Développement in N’Djamena, Chad
- The National Institute of Physics, the University of the Philippines Diliman in The Philippines
- Mohamed First University in Oujda, Morocco
