IOP Publishing will shortly announce their endorsement of the KBART (Knowledge Bases And Related Tools) Working Group, a joint NISO and UKSG initiative, as part of their commitment to supporting librarians.
The initiative has established industry standards for the timely exchange of metadata between content providers and libraries in OpenURL knowledge bases. Through endorsing the KBART initiative, library professionals will be able to import metadata about IOP Publishing’s journals into their library management systems.
