For the third consecutive year, IOP Publishing’s (IOPP) ‘Top-cited paper awards’ celebrate the most influential papers published in India.

Spanning five subject areas, the papers cover astronomy and astrophysics, biosciences, materials, mathematics and physics.

In total, the top cited papers received 661 citations and the most highly-cited review paper received 45 citations

Elaine Tham, Associate Director (APAC & Partnerships) at IOP Publishing said: “India’s increase in scientific output and research quality has been remarkable in recent years. These awards are an important way to recognise the impact of this work across the global scientific community. Congratulations go to all the authors for this outstanding achievement.”
