Recently at IOP Publishing’s international colleague conference, PubCon, the discussion turned to the elephant in the room: artificial intelligence (AI). The use of AI in scholarly publishing creates a host of opportunities but also poses many challenges and integrity issues. As academic publishers, how should we approach the AI revolution?
