Library Advisory Board

IOP Publishing has an active and engaged Library Advisory Board (LAB), with annual regional meetings in North America, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), APAC (Asia-Pacific) and India. Each of these boards has a membership of between 10 and 16 librarians from around that region. Members represent a broad spectrum of library types, from small colleges to major universities and research institutions, to library consortia.

When our LAB members complete their term, they are invited to join our global IOP Publishing LAB Alumni Association. The Alumni Association brings international librarians together to discuss topics of interest to the entire library industry.

LAB meetings provide an invaluable source of advice, feedback and mutual support. Peer networking is an important element of our LAB and members feel a sense of community with IOP Publishing and their LAB colleagues. LAB members gain insight into the publishing world and their contributions help to shape our business strategy.
