Diversity, Equity and Inclusion data and reporting
IOP Publishing is committed to improving diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) across all editorial groups. In 2018 we made a commitment to share our annual data relating to authors, reviewers and editorial boards by self-reported gender and geography. We hope that in sharing this data we are contributing to the body of evidence that demonstrates a lack of equity in publishing and academia more broadly. We are committed to improving these statistics and are actively working to broaden the range of voices within our journal communities.
