IOP Publishing is committed to supporting the library community. Since 2009, IOP Publishing has provided funding for new PAM librarians with four $1,000 stipends to help defray the costs of traveling to the Special Libraries Association (SLA) Annual Conference for the first time.
In 2013, the travel stipends were renamed the “Louise Leckner Memorial Travel Stipends” in honour of an IOP Publishing staff member who was proud to be a part of the SLA Annual Conference programme.
