IOP Publishing has today announced a major relaunch of brightrecruits.com, the company’s specialist, global recruitment site for vacancies in physics and engineering. The new platform has gone live today.
“The site has a completely new look and feel.” says Jo Allen, Head of Marketing and B2B at IOP Publishing, “This is a highly competitive area for both employers looking for the best candidates and for individuals competing for coveted positions at desirable companies. The new site offers the functionality to allow both employees and employers to showcase what they have to offer.”
The new version allows jobseekers to tailor their search by selecting from a range of criteria including preferred industry sector, job type, location and salary. It also offers comprehensive careers information and additional features such as recruiter videos to make it a more complete service.
As part of the relaunch, IOP Publishing’s free job site, TIPTOP, will be incorporated into brightrecruits.com from March 2011. “TIPTOP has provided a valuable service over the years to jobseekers and recruiters alike,” Allen continued “Having reviewed all the options available in order to continue to provide the best possible service for our customers, we decided it was no longer practical to maintain two sites. The merger of TIPTOP and brightrecruits.com will give jobseekers a greater selection of positions to choose from, while recruiters will have a much better range of posting options.”
Previous users of TIPTOP will still be able to post vacancies for free, but will also be able to pay to take advantage of additional features and promotional opportunities that weren’t available on TIPTOP.
