Professor Shlomo Havlin, author of IOP ebook Introduction to Network of Networks has been awarded the 2014 Rothschild Prize.
The Rothschild Prize in chemical and physical sciences is a prestigious Israeli award, established in 1959 by Yad Hanadiv to support the advancement of sciences and humanities in the country. The prize will be awarded to Professor Havlin at the Israeli Knesset in March 2014.
Professor Havlin works at the department of physics at Bar-Ilan University, Israel, where he has served as the department chairman and Dean of the Faculty of Exact Sciences.
Introduction to Network of Networks will be the first book to discuss this new developing and exciting topic – robustness of network of networks – which can be regarded as a second revolution in network science. It is due to be published in November 2014.
