Congratulations to Dr Cathy Foley, Editor-in-Chief of Superconductor Science and Technology (SUST) who has been awarded the IEEE Award for Continuing and Significant Contributions in the Field of Applied Superconductivity.
The award has been given to Dr Foley specifically for:
Dr Foley is the President of Science and Technology Australia and Chief of CSIRO Materials Science and Engineering. She has been Editor-in-Chief of SUST since the beginning of 2014, taking over from Damian Hampshire.

The award will be formally presented to Dr Foley in August at the Applied Superconductivity Conference, Charlotte, US. During the ceremony, Dr Foley will receive a plaque, an inscribed medallion and a cash award of US $5,000.
